Privacy policy

Global Impact Value Exchange (“GIVE”, “we”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in San Francisco, California. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it and the choices you have.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you use the Join Us form, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, organization and role if you give them, what you are interested in, and your message. We only collect the fields on the form, and the form asks for your consent before you send it.

Website analytics. We use Plausible Analytics to count page visits and form submissions. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal information and does not track you across other websites. Because no tracking cookies are used, this site does not show a cookie banner.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us only to reply to you, to consider your interest in GIVE’s gatherings and partnerships, and to keep a record of our conversations.

Where your information is stored

• Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions.
• Zapier passes each submission to a Google Sheet that only GIVE staff can access, and sends you an email confirming we received your message.
• Google Workspace provides GIVE’s email.

These providers process information on our behalf. They may store it in the United States.

Visitors outside the United States

GIVE is based in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain our relationships with partners and participants. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you have sent us. Email hello@givehq.org and we will respond within two business days.

Photos

The photos on this site were taken at the CHANGE gatherings on Necker Island. If you appear in a photo on this site and would like it removed, email hello@givehq.org and we will remove it.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
